The BJB Scholarship is an independent scholarship initiative established in 2022 in memory of Bill, father of the founder. The scholarship is intended to support students pursuing higher education and career advancement.
1. Administration
Applications for the BJB Scholarship are submitted and processed through Bold.org. Bold.org is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that administers scholarship applications and donation processing. All donations made through Bold.org are subject to Bold.org’s policies, terms, and conditions.
The BJB Scholarship is not a 501(c)(3) organization.
2. Funding & Award Availability
Scholarship awards are granted based on available funding.
While the intended award structure is three (3) scholarships of $1,000 each per cycle (totaling $3,000), the number and amount of awards may vary depending on funds raised and available at the time of selection.
The BJB Scholarship reserves the right to:
Modify award amounts
Adjust the number of recipients
Postpone awards
Cancel a scholarship cycle if sufficient funding is not available
3. Eligibility & Selection
Eligibility requirements are outlined on the official scholarship listing on Bold.org.
While the scholarship may be open to eligible applicants nationwide, priority consideration may be given to students who are residents of or attending school in the U.S. Virgin Islands, as stated in the scholarship description.
Final recipient selection is made in accordance with the criteria outlined in the scholarship listing. All decisions are final.
4. No Guarantee of Award
Submission of an application does not guarantee selection or receipt of scholarship funds.
Applicants are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted through Bold.org is accurate and complete.
5. Use of Information
Any personal information submitted through Bold.org is governed by Bold.org’s privacy policy. The BJB Scholarship does not directly collect or store scholarship application data unless otherwise stated.
6. Changes to Scholarship Terms
The BJB Scholarship reserves the right to update or modify scholarship terms, eligibility requirements, award amounts, and timelines at any time without prior notice.
Any changes will be reflected on the official scholarship page and/or this website.
7. Limitation of Liability
The BJB Scholarship and its founder shall not be liable for:
Technical issues related to third-party platforms
Errors or delays in application processing
Incomplete submissions
Circumstances beyond reasonable control affecting award distribution
